Professional Experience
I have over 5 years of experience working with diverse individuals, families, and minority communities. My background also includes supporting those with developmental and physical disabilities, which has shaped my commitment to providing inclusive and affirming care, as I previously worked within respite care. My professional experience also expands to the field of dance. The last 8 years as a professional dance artist have deeply informed my therapeutic approach by fostering a heightened awareness of the body-mind connection and emotional expression. Within my work as a dancer and dance educator, I have worked alongside individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds, which has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and honor the unique ways each individual expresses themselves.

Approach to Therapy
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect. I work through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, honoring each client’s unique identity and lived experience. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques, tailoring each approach to meet the client’s needs. My goal is to help clients connect with their strengths, find clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.
A Little About Me
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy staying connected to the performing arts through dance, as a performer, educator, and an ongoing creative spirit. When I’m not in the office or studio, you can often find me exploring local coffee shops, spending time with my partner and our two dogs, or getting lost in a compelling documentary or a good book. I'm passionate about continuous learning, both in and out of the therapy setting, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your path toward growth, clarity, and well-being.
