My Approach to Therapy

My approach is grounded in empathy, humor, and creativity to develop a strong trauma-informed therapeutic relationship. I seek to understand your world holistically, not just what’s going on in your mind, but also in your body and your environment. I utilize an integrated approach which allows me to pull from modalities that make sense for your story and what you’re looking for in therapy. My hope is that therapy feels like a safe space to land. Nothing is required of you, you can’t fail, and you don’t have to be impressive. Therapy should feel like an honest unloading, not another thing on the to-do list. Upon request, I can provide services which integrate with Christianity. All beliefs, faith, and identities are welcomed and celebrated!

A Little About Me

I’ve spent the last couple of years in the Boston area, loving the snow, ocean views, and small New England towns. My husband and I are NC natives and excited to be back in the sun! I am a hobby collector and enjoy many activities such as board games (including TTRPGs), crocheting/knitting, trying out new vegetarian recipes, reading, and practicing yoga. I believe that community is an invaluable aspect of being human and strive to live life alongside others.

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s twists and turns! My hope is that I can provide a safe space where we can work creatively and collaboratively.
